Featured on this program is music of the great Baroque master Johann Sebastian Bach and contemporary Armenian composer Loris Chobanian.

In observance of the Asian Pacific Heritage Month, Asian Arts & Culture Center invites Dana Tai Soon Bergess & Co to stage an unprecedented anniversary production. Underscoring the company’s commitment to building cultural and ethnic and connections, the repertoire accentuates its Asian American roots. Selections include Chino Latino, a celebration of the connection of Latin and Asian cultures in the Americas; Tracings, an homage to the director’s family history of immigration from Korea to Hawaii in 1903; and Khaybet, a solo inspired by the company’s recent tour to the Middle East.
